MILWAUKEE -Milwaukee police are investigating a triple shooting Sunday thatleft two people dead.
It happened the same day as Mayor Tom Barrett's annual Ceasefire Sabbath.
The shooting was near Atkinson Avenue and 11th Street around 2 p.m., policesaid.
The first victim, a 31-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim, a 49-year-old man, was hospitalized and later died.
A 48-year-old man was hospitalized and was listed in stable condition.
Police are looking for the gunman.
The Ceasefire Sabbath is an annual event to call upon Milwaukee's clergy and
faith-based leaders to promote a common message of peace and non-violence
during their weekend services.
