Yeah...what can you say? The vicarious thrill he experiences through
watching his kid engage in athletic competition just brings out his inner
jerk. Of course, now that he got caught in public, and has been exposed to
social opprobrium for his actions, he sees the error of his ways. Funny how
that works.
One thing I learned as a child is that if you want to make some activity
become no fun at all, just put an adult in charge of it.
In fact I believe you could probably eliminate teenage pregnancy by putting
an adult in charge of making it happen. They would quickly make sex no fun.
