It shows the fallacy of New York's "Safe Act" gun law as well as all so
called "assault gun" bans, past, present and future. Just alter the cosmetic
appearance of the AR-15 and it's in compliance with the law, because
mechanically it's no different from any other semi-automatic rifle fed by a
detachable box magazine that is in compliance.
Of course, the Safe Act is merely intended to hassle legal gun owners and
scare them into giving up their guns. Governor Cuomo et al believe that
private gun ownership is nothing but a dangerous nuisance and needs to be
curtailed, absent any material effect on violent crime rates.
