The UN is scolding North Korea for human rights violations?! This is
something we haven't seen since North Korea invaded South Korea in 1950.
Since then the UN bureaucracy has become dominated by Leftist fellow
travelers sympathetic to Socialist/Communist regimes, so this criticism of
North Korea for any reason is something new and different. The UN has known
what's been going on in North Korea for decades, so why the sudden
denunciation? What gives? Could it be that the Chinese have lost patience
with their North Korean clients and are planning a regime change soon? The
UN inquiry could certainly provide the excuse for an intervention.
