Isn't it curious how the American news media has avoided stories about the
homeless for the last five years? Whereas, we were bombarded with news items
about the plight of the homeless during the Bush and Reagan Administrations.

Same with the so called "anti-war" movement. It has disappeared from the
public eye as well since Jan 2009.
