What a minute...this kind of thing doesn't happen in Canada! At least that
is what American Leftists are wont to tell us all.

The fact is that more and more of Canada's wrong-doers are no  longer
willing to submit meekly to the authorities, as in days past. An increasing
number of Canada's criminals and violent lunatics are willing to take on the
cops. Just like in the USA. Mayerthorpe, Alberta in 2005 was the worst loss
of life by Canadian law enforcement thus far (at least since the Northwest
Rebellion of 1885), but this most recent incident in New Brunswick  isn't
even over with yet.
