Looks like the perpetrator doesn’t fit into any of the commonly recognized stereotypes for such offenders. Clearly he was unconcerned about being yelled at or otherwise stigmatized for being a murderer. Since the perp stated he “wanted someone to kill him", maybe it was an elaborate attempt at “suicide by cop”. And in the process he wanted others to “feel his pain”.
