They Say They're For "Common Sense Gun Control," But What Do They Really Advocate?

A logical American citizen accepts that the cost we pay in 10,000 murder with firearms each year is a small price to pay to avoid purges, pogroms, death marches, mass starvations, mass executions, genocides and death camps that haunt so many other nations, even on our own continent, over the past 100 years.
It is not perfect, but the 2nd Amendment is our best insurance against mass murder by the federal government against the American citizenry.
Be very suspicious of those claiming that they want “common sense” gun control, or that we need gun control to benefit “public safety.”
Such arguments only serve governments that serve themselves, and ensure that tyrants can do whatever they desire to the citizenry, without repercussions.
You think it can’t happen here?
Larry Grathwohl infiltrated the Weather Underground, a radical communist domestic terrorist group, in the 1970s. They discussed a need for concentration camps here in the United States for those who refused to accept their views.
They estimated they’d need to murder 25 million Americans in their purge.
The leaders of that terrorist group are still alive today. Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn are rather infamous for being the mentors of a young Chicago politician and community organizer that they worked with and knew well. That young politician started his political campaign with a fundraiser in their home.
That community organizer, Barack Obama, is now President of the United States.
I have no interest in visiting the sorts of camps that his mentors envisioned.
I’ll be keeping my guns.
