This is great! Yeah, Leftists are all about “doing something”, promoting symbolism over substance! Of course the solution that all these Liberal talking heads want to impose is to restrict the freedom of law-abiding citizens to own guns. They’ll gladly take your guns away and leave you at the mercy of criminal element. A criminal element that these same Leftists allow to run rampant and victimize the public with near impunity. They allow dangerous lunatics to run loose. They even allow criminals from other countries to enter the country at will and prey on American citizens. The Government has show time and again that it is unable and unwilling to protect American citizens from crime and violence. So why would we want to accept restrictions on our right to own guns? And more to the point why should we trust a government that is being so incompetently run and so uncaring about the safety of ordinary citizens? One who’s only solution to a social problem is to take away OUR freedom?
As MSNBC called for "more gun control" after the Umpqua CC shooting, Charles C.W. Cooke asked a simple question that left them all fumbling for words.
