Home Intruder Faces Deadly Consequence for Ignoring Elderly Texas Couple's Warning

http://cdn.bearingarms.com/uploads/2016/07/5494864.jpg

Interesting case of a brazen home invader who ignored the homeowner’s commands to cease and desist in his efforts to break down the door. Was the intruder on dope perhaps? Seems likely. Keep in mind that as self-defense law expert Massad Ayoob advises when faced with a credible and  imminent lethal threat to your person or that of your loved ones you are not obligated to give a verbal warning before you shoot. In this case , especially since the intruder was still outside the dwelling and not necessarily an imminent threat until he was about to enter, it was good that the homeowner gave multiple verbal warnings,  and contacted 911 as well, before shooting. For some reason authorities sometimes get all bothered when some miscreant who was terrorizing good people gets killed. A life cut short at 42. Who knows but with the life history the intruder probably had behind him he might have discovered the cure for MS or cancer had he lived.

The elderly couple were in their San Antonio, TX home around 10 a.m. on Thursday when an unknown individual began attempting to break in.

After an elderly homeowner in his late 70’s was forced to open fire on a home intruder last week, authorities say he will not face any charges stemming from the shooting.
The homeowner and his wife, who is in her late 60’s, were in their San Antonio, TX home on Autumn Dew Drive around 10 a.m. on Thursday when an unknown individual began attempting to break in.
“They were giving the individual who was trying to break into the house commands to stop,” said Doug Greene, SAPD spokesperson.
Greene said they called 9-1-1 and told dispatchers he was armed and ready to defend himself if police could not get to the home in time. The elderly man continued to command the home intruder to stop trying to break into the couple’s home, but the man continued to force his way in, eventually braking the couple’s the door handle.
At that point, the homeowner fired his gun at the intruder through the door.
The suspect, identified by police as 42-year-old Troy Dell Wilson, was struck in the chest.
Although EMS attempted to save Wilson’s life, Green said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Greene commended the homeowner on his response to the situation — first calling police, informing authorities he had a gun in his home and then making attempts to stave the would-be intruder’s attempts to enter his home.

Protests to follow police killing of black man in Canada

People who have trouble following the rules come to the attention of the police more, regardless of what country they are in.

=========================================================================================

MONTREAL — The death of a Somali Canadian at the hands of Ottawa police on Sunday has sparked nationwide anger and plans for protests by activists who say police violence against the black community is not solely an American problem.
Abdirahman Abdi, a 37-year-old immigrant from Somalia who neighbors said suffered an unspecified mental illness, died after a confrontation with police outside his apartment building. Witnesses said the police, responding to a harassment complaint, beat Abdi repeatedly with batons before handcuffing him.
A protest over Abdi's death and police handling of the incident is planned for Wednesday in Montreal.
Black Lives Matter Toronto co-founder Rodney Diverlus said police brutality against minorities often goes ignored in Canada. “The difference in Canada is that there's a myth of inclusivity and there's a myth that this thing doesn't happen here because our police are less accountable to the public,” he said.
While BLM has had a presence in Canada since the protests in Ferguson, Mo., kick-started the movement in 2014, the recent killings of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge and Philando Castile in Minnesota, as well as the shooting of Charles Kinsey in North Florida have inspired protests across Canada in solidarity with the American victims.
Abdi's case is not the first time an unarmed minority has died at the hands of Canadian police. In Montreal, the 2008 killing of Fredy Villanueva, an 18-year-old native of Honduras, inspired protests and was one of several high-profile police shootings that led to the founding of an independent agency that investigates police violence.
In July 2015, a Toronto police officer fatally shot 45-year-old Andrew Loku, an immigrant from South Sudan with a history of mental illness, in his apartment building. The officer was not charged.
Perhaps most publicized was the 2013 death of Sammy Yatim, who was shot eight times and then Tasered after pulling a knife on a Toronto streetcar. The officer who shot him was found guilty of attempted murder in January.
“Strategic policing goes after problem places, the places that have higher levels of violence,” said Irvin Waller, a professor at the University of Ottawa's Institute for the Prevention of Crime. “In Canada, you have a disproportionate number of black people in those areas and a disproportionate number of Aboriginal people in those areas. Secondly, they have used some of the American policing techniques. Stop and frisk from New York has been used as a carding procedure in Canada. In Toronto, it's very clear the carding procedure was used disproportionately against young blacks.”
Experts said that while Canada has far fewer acts of police violence than does the United States after adjusting for population differences, much of that can be attributed to a wider social safety net and far less access to hand guns.
Even so, the black and Aboriginal communities are targeted at a greater per capita rate than the rest of Canadian society.
The scope of the problem of police violence against those communities can be difficult to quantify. The Ontario Special Investigations Unit, a civilian oversight agency that looks into acts of violence involving police, compiles statistics by geography and the sex of the complainant, but keeps no statistics on race. Ian Scott, a lawyer and former head of the unit, said that's because when the organization was founded, those statistics weren't kept at the request of minority groups, fearing they would be misused.
“One reason they were not kept when the (unit) first started was that there was a big fuss in Toronto involving keeping race-based statistics,” said Scott. “The culture has really changed over time and now it's the black groups that are interested in having race-based statistics. My feeling is now that if visible minority groups want to have race-based statistics, we should keep them.”

Police: Apartment neighbor shot, killed man in self-defense

He kept saying “shoot me”, so the other guy did.

The investigation into the death of a 23-year-old man involved in a domestic disturbance during the weekend showed he was killed by a neighbor attempting to protect the deceased man’s common-law wife, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
Angelo Cassius Cazarez was shot and killed after he became involved in a domestic disturbance at the Pecan Ridge Apartments, 2736 Lake Shore Drive, about 12:15 a.m. Sunday.
Police were called to the apartment complex after Cazarez’s common-law wife reported that he had threatened her with two knives.
Cazarez allegedly physically assaulted a person who was trying to help the woman in the parking lot of the complex. Swanton said Cazarez assaulted the person who was trying to help but allowed the woman to escape the area.
The woman ran and knocked on several apartment doors trying to get someone to call police, Swanton said. A neighbor answered the door and helped the woman, he said.
Swanton said that person, who was not identified, came out of the apartment with a handgun after the woman said that her common-law husband was armed with knives. Cazarez spotted his common-law wife and started to move toward her, Swanton said.
“The individual who came to the common-law wife’s aid told the suspect Cazarez numerous times to stop,” Swanton said in a statement. “Cazarez continued at the individual and the common-law wife in a threatening manner and refused commands to stop. Cazarez was telling the individual to shoot him.”
After repeated verbal warnings, Cazarez failed to stop moving at the woman, Swanton said. Because of Cazarez’s “hostile actions toward them,” the neighbor shot to protect both of them as both “were in fear of their lives,” Swanton said.
Police detained several people at the apartment complex and took statements. Swanton said no one was arrested at the time of the incident and the investigation is ongoing.

Russian Hackers Also Hacked The Clinton Foundation

The same hackers who penetrated the Democratic National Committee also succeeded in breaking into the Clinton Foundation, it was disclosed Tuesday
“The hackers in fact sought data from at least 4,000 individuals associated with US politics — party aides, advisers, lawyers and foundations — for about seven months,” Bloomberg reported.
US officials have informed both major political parties and the presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders that sophisticated hackers were attempting to penetrate their computers.
Clinton Foundation officials did not say which documents and other information had been stolen.
Trump has said that he plans to make a campaign issue of donations, especially from foreign governments, to the Clinton Foundation, and confidential data, e-mails and other materials could aid in that effort if they become public.
I always thought that Putin intervened in Syria to both stop the traitors of the west from creating instability, and end the Islamic migrant invasion resulting from that instability. Putin no more wants an Islamized Europe with radical Muslims controlling nukes right next door, than he wants war with the US and China.
My guess is Russia believes that the Islamist invasion will be the defining element of a major global conflict. Russia can face that Islamist threat by itself, or it can face it in a world with a friendly President Trump who recognizes the dangers of Islam, and who is willing to stand with the strong leader of Russia against it.
Obviously Putin has chosen to cast his die with the new Right and it’s charismatic new leader.
Increasingly I realize that even as Putin strongly pursues the interests of Russia throughout the world, he is doing good. It is a sad testament to how evil the leadership of the west presently is, that even as Russia seeks to win against us, it is helping Europe and the US more than our own leaders.
It also points out an interesting association. The Cuckservatives, themselves bent on flooding the US with third world foreigners and betraying our nations, have warned us for ages that Putin is evil incarnate – even as they import terrorists who want to kill us, throw their hats in with radical Islam, and even support the Clinton crime machine in this election.
Even if you just judge the man by his enemies, Putin comes off looking quite good. If you look at the effect he will probably have after these last few years, especially compared to the traitors in power now, he appears as a Saint – and maybe even a savior of western civilization.

Merkel admits EU is being RAVAGED BY TERROR but says Germany should welcome MORE refugees

http://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/78/590x/German-Chancellor-Angela-Merkel-694243.jpg

Frau Merkel doubles down on her folly. The massive social price of Leftist virtue signaling. She claims that Germany shouldn’t make policies “out of fear”. Oh where, oh where have we heard that hackneyed Leftist bromide before? No of course not, one should never act out of rational fear of anything that is obviously dangerous! Instead you should do stupid stuff  that will get good people molested or killed and waste tons of the tax payers money on policies that will accrue absolutely no benefit to the average working people in your society.

Tom Batchelor

The German leader, who cut short her summer holiday to speak after a string of Islamist attacks rocked the country, said the entire continent was being “ravaged” by terrorism.
She described recent attacks in Ansbach, Wurzburg and Munich as “horrifying and depressing” but insisted Germany would not turn its back on people fleeing the Middle East.
In the wake of the killings, Mrs Merkel said Germany now needed a better “early warning system” to spot radicalised Muslims among the newly-arrived migrants.
She said the central government would “redouble its efforts” against the threat, increasing staff numbers and resources for security services.
She said: "The terrorists want to make us lose sight of what is important to us, break down our cohesion and sense of community as well as inhibiting our way of life, our openness and our willingness take in people who are in need.
"They see hatred and fear between cultures and they see hatred and fear between religions.
“We stand decisively against that.”
The terrorists want to make us lose sight of what is important to us, break down our cohesion and sense of community
Angela Merkel
She added that Germany would "stick to our principles" and "give shelter to those who deserve it".
Economists have warned that Germany's shrinking population could hit growth and many now believe Mrs Merkel's fondness for large-scale migration is aimed at ensuring the country maintains its working-age population.
However, she also hinted that Germany would act in the future to limit the numbers that were arriving at its borders.
Asked if reducing the flow of migrants was a priority, Mrs Merkel responded: “Yes of course this is one of my objectives, immigration from last year was marked by a illegal immigration, human trafficking, and this is not something that we can accept.
“Thousands die in the Mediterranean and we have said two things: first that we have to legalise the flow and that is why the voluntary agreement with Turkey contains humanitarian quotas, and also…a country like Germany, as strong as Germany, can not continue to take in such a flow of migrants and we have to limit the numbers.
“We say that the refugees can lead a good life close to their homes and that is why three billion euros are earmarked for refugees in Turkey.
“This is our responsibility, i am convinced of that.
But she continued: “I am not going to say that we are going to welcome any more refugees,
Speaking defiantly amid the escalating poltiical and security crisis in Germany, Mrs Merkel repeated several times the mantra "We can do this" after spelling out the "major litmus test" that the country was now facing.
She also spoke of speeding up the process of sending home failed asylum seekers, after it emerged the Syrian migrant who detonated explosives near a music festival in Ansbach was refused the right to stay in Germany.
In an admission of the dangers the migrant crisis has posed to security in Europe, Mrs Merkel also said that attacks in Paris last November was proof that terrorist fighters were being smuggled in among the flow of people arriving from the Middle East and Africa.
She said the attacks had “mocked” Germany and damaged the reputation of the majority of refugees in the country, who are law-abiding.
The German government will now look to take “additional measures” to counter the jihadi threat, although Mrs Merkel refused to be rushed into outlining exactly what these might be.
Germany must conduct a comprehensive review before taking any steps in response to the attacks, she said.
Mrs Merkel added: “These events create major concern and fears, but fears cannot inform us in political action and I will do my utmost to prevent these attacks from happening again.
“We are not the only ones [affected by terrorism]. Governments need to live up to their responsibilities to restore confidence.”
A spate of attacks since July 18 has left 15 people dead - including four attackers - and dozens injured.
Two assailants, a Syrian asylum seeker and a refugee from either Pakistan or Afghanistan, had links to Islamist militancy, officials say.
The attacks have burst any illusions in Germany that the country is immune to attacks like those claimed by ISIS in neighbouring France.
Critics of Mrs Merkel say her refugee policy is at fault, after more than a million migrants entered Germany in the past year.

World’s Most Fragile White Lawyer Turns Lowly Turnpike Worker Over To PC Police

Leftist virtue signaling.

How bad is it out there?
Carl Shuman, a 60-year-old lawyer, had just pulled into a toll station of the Pennsylvania turnpike.  Shuman has been described as a white male.
An exasperated toll worker—not addressing Shuman but grumbling to no one in particular—commented about the last carload that
“Them black people. You give them directions and they don’t understand a thing. They can’t even speak English.”
(This is Shuman’s version of what was said.)
Shuman, by his own description, was so shocked by the comment that began to tremble.  He demanded a supervisor.
His complaint about the complaint rocketed to the highest levels.  The turnpike director.  The press.
In a maidenly gasp to the press, Shuman called it a “Trumpian” experience, and blamed it on that bad ol’ Donald Trump.  Just so we know where Mr. Crybaby is coming from, politically.[ Turnpike Commission CEO apologizes for toll collector’s racist   as investigation continues,by Steve Marroni, PennLive.com, July 28, 2016]
If there were a clearer illustration of the widening gap between globalists and nationalists in the past few days, I missed it. We’ve gone full Big Brother.  One citizen has just turned in another for making a comment he objected to politically.
Please note the following.
  • The comments weren’t directed at Shuman.
  • In fact, they weren’t even directed to the black people in the car ahead.  The worker waited until they were gone.
  • Shuman was not a witness to anything that transpired before.  He had no idea was prompted the comments.
  • In true Goodwhite fashion, Shuman wanted to be offended.  He wanted to heroically absorb the injustice for the black people—like a momentary Rachel Dolezal.
  • Shuman,  reportedly an in-house labor lawyer for Highmark, is likely pretty rich.
  • The toll worker is likely NOT rich.
  • But Shuman will remain employed—lauded, even, by his company.
  • The toll worker may get fired.
  • Shuman is highly politically motivated.
Like many of the elites, he’s an older white lawyer with an instinctive dislike of Trump—and hopes to score political points by crushing out a poor, insignificant toll worker and then crowing to the world what a liberal angel he is, ready to receive his tolerance medal from the governor.  He held a sit-in at the toll booth!  (Carl imagines himself chanting, “Black Feelings Matter!  Black Feelings Matter!”)
Yes, Carl, working-class whites who deal with the public in high volume—like, you know, police—sometimes make exasperated comments that are less than politically correct.  Blowing off steam about that makes the job tolerable.  They suffer frustrations that go unheard in our society.
Note to Carl:  Yep, you get your 15 minutes.  The powers that be love you.  But that Trumpian experience isn’t going anywhere.

BLM At The DNC: When Do “The Mothers Of ISIS” Speak?

https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/vdare-live/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/27181153/MOTHERS-768x512.jpg

The mothers of dead black teenagers--many of whom were murderous thugs.

Whatever questionable choices were made at the Republican National Convention last week, I didn’t hear of a single speaker whose sole accomplishment was raising a delinquent who attacked a cop.
hillarylezley
But as the country reels from the cold-blooded murder of five policemen in Dallas and three in Baton Rouge, Lezley McSpadden (right) mother of Mike Brown, America’s most famous cop-assaulting criminal, appeared on stage at the Democratic National Convention.
Welcome to Hillary’s convention, celebrating the anti-police group Black Lives Matter!
The whole raison d’etre of BLM is the belief that cops are wantonly killing “black bodies.” But only four of the dead black kids being honored were even killed by cops. Two were murdered by black gang members.
Of the four deaths that involved the police, all the victims were fighting the cops when they died.
In this regard, I notice that six of the nine “Mothers of the Movement” have different last names from their snowflakes. The children with the same names as their mothers were the two who were gunned down by black gangs, as well as one schizophrenic, who, unfortunately, had grabbed an officer’s baton and was hitting him with it when he got himself shot.
After massive, enormously expensive investigations, only one officer in any of these four cases was convicted of any offense: involuntary manslaughter for the 2009 shooting by a BART police officer of Oscar Grant–who was in the process of being arrested for an enormous public brawl when he was shot.
http://media.nbcchicago.com/images/620*465/michaelmariopaceshooting_448x336.jpg
Contrast his death with the deaths of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton and 16-year-old Blair Holt. Hadiya was shot in the back by black gang members, while in a Chicago park with her friends–who were mistaken for members of a rival gang. Blair was riding a school bus when a black gang member (pictured right)boarded the bus and began shooting.
The police are trying get these criminal gangs off the street! And their job would be a lot easier without thugs like Mike Brown violently attacking them.
It would be a lot easier if they weren’t being constantly harassed by BLM and their lunatic accusations of racist policing.
It would be a lot easier if they were not being targeted for assassination and mass murders by homicidal nuts ginned up by BLM. (Shooting deaths of police are up 78 percent so far this year.)
And it would be a lot easier without a group — officially supported by the Democrats — leading marches down city streets, chanting, “What do we want? DEAD COPS! When do we want it? NOW!”
Why does the Democratic platform endorse Black Lives Matter? And, most importantly, why was Mike Brown’s mother on stage at the Democratic National Convention?
As absurd as BLM’s other cases are, none have been so authoritatively disproved as the yarn about “gentle giant” Brown begging for his life from Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson before being shot in the street like a dog.
Within a few weeks of the “hands up, don’t shoot” narrative being broadcast as fact from every media outlet, we saw the video of the “gentle giant” robbing a store and roughing up the clerk shortly before his encounter with Officer Wilson.
This was followed by extensive investigations by both a grand jury and a Department of Justice led by the most racist, anti-police attorney general we’ve ever had, Eric Holder. But even Holder’s Justice Department had to concede the whole “hands up don’t shoot” story was a bald-faced lie.
Officer Wilson was completely cleared in the shooting of Mike Brown. As the investigations proved, Big Mike had violently assaulted Wilson, grabbed for his gun, and was charging the officer when Wilson shot and killed this raging behemoth.
However half-heartedly, Hillary claims to oppose cop-killing, so why is she using her convention to promote the biggest lie in the pantheon of anti-cop lies, and to celebrate a man whose most famous act was to violently assault a police officer?
Because of the despicable lies put out by BLM agitators, Wilson had to give up his career, move his family and will be forced to live in fear for the rest of his life. The town of Ferguson was destroyed, businesses burned to the ground, police officers attacked, people injured, the National Guard called in, and massive taxpayer money expended to contain the riots.
But at the Democratic Convention, Lezley McSpadden (mother of Mike Brown) was wildly cheered.
Eric Holder said Brown tried to kill a cop. Are Democrats insane?
If Brown’s mother had done something noteworthy, apart from raising a hoodlum–perhaps pioneering a cardiac stent that will save people’s lives–then one could understand her being a “headliner” at the Democrat’s convention. But, as I understand it, her sole claim to fame is giving birth to, and then carefully nurturing, a violent, cop-assaulting criminal.
Donald Trump, along with every other Republican ever to run for president, is required to repeatedly “disavow” David Duke–someone he’s never met, never mentioned, never thought of—and certainly didn’t invite to speak at his convention.
But Hillary invites to her convention the mother of a man whose criminality destroyed a police officer’s life, tore the country apart and gave birth to a murderous cop-hating movement. Will a single reporter ask Hillary to disavow that?

The US military is the world's strongest. Half of Americans think it's not.

http://img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net/tenant/amp/entityid/BBuXOKe.img

“ An Army of deer led by a lion is more to be feared than an army of lions led by a deer.”- Chabrius

“If a hill is occupied by a company and you send a battalion to take it, you’ll take the hill, but with casualties. But if you send a division you’ll take the hill without a fight.” – Dwight D. Eisenhower

“We live in a time when the strong have grown weak because of their scruples and the weak have grown strong because of their audacity.” - Bismarck

What people are sensing is that our political leadership lacks the will to win a war. So we have the paradox of having a military that cannot be beaten yet cannot win a conflict. Besides our ground forces, the Army and the Marine Corps, are too small to do all the jobs our government claims it expects them to be able to do around the world. Our forces are still outnumbered by all our potential enemies combined. If we are able to overwhelm our enemies in both quantity and quality we will be able to win without much of a fight and therefore without taking many casualties (or even having to fight at all in many cases). Whereas the closer it is to being a “fair fight” the more likely our forces are to get bloodied up and take a lot of casualties. Regardless of our great strength we Americans are very sensitive to taking casualties , every American service member lost is somebody’s loved one to us, and all our potential enemies know this. The Islamic Jihadists certainly understand it. They believe if they can bloody our nose and inflict a lot of casualties on our forces we’ll give up and let them have their way. Our nuclear forces are largely irrelevant in nearly every possible conflict because our enemies know that we have way too many scruples to ever use them to win. So really in any likely conflict we are merely discussing the capabilities (or lack thereof ) of America's conventional and special operations forces, which aren’t big enough to do every job that has been laid out for them worldwide. So there is a threshold in American military strength that makes enemies more likely to take our military on around the world (including weak and irresolute political leadership at home) and a lot of Americans seem to realize we have crossed that threshold.

============================================

By any metric — military spending, number of worldwide bases and alliances, quality of technology — America's military is by far the world's most powerful.

By any metric — military spending, number of worldwide bases and alliances, quality of technology — America's military is by far the world's most powerful. Yet the majority of Americans don't see it that way. In a Gallup poll released in February, only 49 percent of Americans said that the US had the strongest military in the world. That was the first timeever that a Gallup poll has found less than a majority saying America wasn't the world's strongest power.
Since 1993, Gallup has asked Americans whether "America is number one in the world, militarily" or whether "it is one of several leading powers." This year is the first when the two results were tied, though it's been close before:
This finding makes the Republican strategy on foreign policy make a whole lot more sense. For virtually the entire election cycle, Trump has been blaming Obama for torpedoing America's strategic position, hollowing out its military, and making the world a more dangerous place.
They're picking up on a real vulnerability. Two-thirds of Americans, according to Gallup, think America should be number one, and not just "among the leading powers." Many Americans who think their country is now just one great power among several aren't happy about it, and some blame Obama and the Democratic candidates who largely back his foreign policy.
There is, no doubt, a bit of a cycle here: The more Republican candidates talk about America's military weakness, the more Americans (especially Republican partisans) come to believe that US military strength has declined.
But the bigger question is why Americans' faith in the country's military strength appears to have weakened even beforethe 2016 campaign began.
The broader trend: US weaker under Democrats, stronger under George W. Bush
These changes don't reflect shifts in America's actual strategic position: Since the end of the Cold War, America has unquestionably been the world's strongest power, with no country even approaching peer status. Rather, public attitudes likely reflect the past three presidents' approach to the military, in terms of both rhetoric and actual policy.
There are basically two trends in the above chart. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama started out their presidencies with polls showing strong American belief in US military primacy, which then declined. Under George W. Bush, it was the opposite: Americans became more confident in US military dominance as his presidency continued.
Bush's foreign policy was practically centered on the idea that the US military, properly deployed, could transform the world — eliminate terrorism, topple rogue regimes, and turn Iraq's dictatorship into a democracy.
Clinton and Obama, by contrast, were both far more hesitant about starting major wars — and thus, rhetorically, less prone to playing up the ability of the US military to fundamentally change the world. Obama especially has emphasized the limits of American power to solve problems like ISIS, even in the face of widespread public fear about the group.
Americans pick up on this. They interpret "the US military can't solve all problems" as "America is losing its military edge," and thus start seeing America as just one great power among many.
Hence, American strength is perceived to be lower under Clinton and Obama than Bush, and even lower under Obama than Clinton. Americans are overreacting to what their presidents say and do, and ignoring the fundamental reality behind the headlines in the process.
