What was he thinking about?! That cop must have watched too many of those old black and white gangster movies made back in the days when the police were allowed to shoot any fleeing suspects…but the Supreme Court long ago decided that didn’t fly any more, unless the suspect somehow posed a credible lethal threat to someone if he was allowed to escape (like a mass murderer or a terrorist carrying a bomb or something) …so the cop is screwed for sure!
