Orlando police say a homeowner shot a suspected burglar after the man broke into his home early Wednesday morning.
Police say the suspect entered the apartment home on Lucerne Trail around 12:50 a.m.
Officials say preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in his home when the suspect broke into the apartment.
Investigators say the victim shot the suspect multiple times.
Officials say the suspect was taken to the hospital but at this time, his condition is not known.
