What is incomprehensible is that the sheriff’s deputies in question somehow imagine that they are not being watched and/or that they will be excused for such blatant brutality. They’re not being the least bit clever about it all. How dumb can a person be? All I can imagine is that they have been influenced by all the TV shows and movies that depict cops “tuning up” the bad guys (who are generally evil, politically incorrect and thus richly deserve it of course). But real life is not the movies and in real life you don’t get second chance after going rogue. These cops are screwed and rightly so.
The big picture is that this hurts us all because it will fool the people into demanding greater federal oversight of local governance, making us ALL less free.
