Italian doctor murdered in Kenya: raped in her house

A doctor from Novara, Rita Fossaceca, 51, was murdered in Kenya where she was working for the NGO ForLife Onlus. It was confirmed that the Farnesinan was raped in her house, in the town of Mijomboni, and that local bandits were responsible. Her death does not appear to have been related to terrorism. Three other Italians who lived in the same house were also wounded.

I have a modicum of respect for those like Rita Fossaceca, who knowingly take their lives into their hands by going and living among the orcs of Mordor because they feel compassion for them. That being said, they aren't missionaries, they aren't risking their lives in order to preach the Word of God, they're taking these risks in order to try to teach zebras dressage.

That being said, I have nothing but the greatest contempt for those anti-civilizational, dyscivic fools who dishonestly claim that we have a moral obligation to permit the orcs to enter the Shire. That's not shrieking, bigoted cowardice, that is common sense and protecting the defenseless.

Petry, whose Alternative for Germany is enjoying an improbable revival after nearly imploding in a power struggle, said her party stood a real chance of entering three new state parliaments next year and the national parliament for the first time in 2017.

Petry drew at least four standing ovations with attacks on what she called Merkel's undemocratic decision to open Germany's borders to migrants who are expected to reach one million this year.

I like the little passive-aggressive "news" coverage. See, because there were only 600 supporters, and because they have gray-hair, and worse, are men, their opinion doesn't matter.

But they figure they'd better cover it anyway, because they'll look bad if they ignore it entirely. Surely no one will notice the subtle little shots they take to discredit people they don't like!

Spiked baseball bats left around S.F.

Someone has been chaining spiked baseball bats to poles throughout San Francisco, and continue to confuse police officers as to their intended purpose. Officers first received reports of wooden or metal baseball bats appearing on poles and parking meters in the city on Thanksgiving morning, San Francisco Police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said. While the reason for the bats’ appearance is unknown, Andraychak said the spikes on the objects allow them to be considered a prohibited or deadly weapon…

Articles: Obama Spares ISIS Oil Facilities to Save the Earth

One may be thankful that President Harry S. Truman didn’t have to file an environmental impact statement before he dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, acts which shortened and won World War II and saved hundreds of thousands of lives.

If you wondered why our air campaign against ISIS was inept, consider the statement by Mike Morell, speaking on the “Charlie Rose” programTuesday night that we didn’t take out the oil facilities that ISIS was using to become the best financed terrorist organization in history because of our concern the environment would be harmed. As the Washington Times reported:

A former CIA director said the U.S.-led coalition fighting the Islamic State has been reluctant to attack oil wells controlled by the extremist group partly because of environmental concerns.

We didn’t go after oil wells -- actually hitting oil wells that ISIS controls because we didn’t want to do environmental damage, and we didn’t want to destroy that infrastructure,” said former spy chief Michael Morell, using an acronym for the Islamic State.

So much for the campaign to “degrade and destroy” ISIS, giving credence to the adage that there is no specific and credible evidence of intelligence in the White House. You win wars by breaking things and killing the enemy and letting the sea levels take care of themselves. You don’t win by worrying that destroying an enemy’s infrastructure might melt a glacier in a hundred years.

Our delusional president has embraced the line that climate change is our greatest national security threat and perhaps even the line that global warming has affected the Middle East’s climate to the point where ISIS was moved to behead, rape, and make war on their neighbors. ISIS, President Obama believes that ISIS is a direct response to our carbon footprint.

President Obama, who refused to march with otherworld leaders in Paris after the Charlie Hebdo attack earlier this year, no doubt shook ISIS to its foundation when the President declared, The Hill reports, after the most recent Paris attacks:

“Next week, I will be joining President Hollande and world leaders in Paris for the global climate conference,” Obama said during his prepared remarks, which focused mostly on the efforts to fight the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

“What a powerful rebuke to the terrorists it will be, when the world stands as one and shows that we will not be deterred from building a better future for our children,” he added.

What? Does he seriously believe that participating in a gabfest the goal of which is to do great damage to our economy to reduce global temperatures by an immeasurable fraction is a defeat for ISIS. They are laughing all the way to the explosive vest factory -- and the bank they put their oil revenues in.

How much fossil fuel will Air Force One consume as he journeys to the climate confab and back? The Washington Times recently noted the environmental cost of President Obama’s April 21, 2015 Earth Day trip:

Earth Day could be interesting in Florida: President Obama will journey aboard Air Force to visit the Everglades on Wednesday, burning jet fuel and taxpayer funds as he goes. Well, at least it’s not as far as Tokyo, which was his Earth Day destination last year. That venture prompted the London Daily Mail to do the math and reveal that magnificent but pricey aircraft consumes 5 gallons of jet fuel for every mile it flies -- emitting over 21 pounds of dreaded CO2 per gallon. The fuel alone costs taxpayers about $180,000 per hour of flight time. Oh, the carbon footprint -- and the irony.

President Obama wants to use the environment to degrade and destroy the U.S. economy based on ideology and not science – much pain for no gain. As Investor’s Business Daily noted:

As Patrick J. Michaels of the Cato Institute noted in a National Review article, "The EPA's own model, ironically acronymed MAGICC, estimates that its new policies will prevent a grand total of 0.018 degrees Celsius in warming by 2100... In fact, dropping the carbon dioxide emissions from all sources of electrical generation to zero would reduce warming by a grand total of 0.04 degrees Celsius by 2100."

That is an amount too small to either measure or sacrifice our economic growth for -- even if the president's policies achieve it.

For this almost imaginary gain, much pain will be inflicted. A Heritage Foundation study predicts U.S. manufacturing job losses totaling 586,000 in just the first seven years of the Clean Power Plan. States with large manufacturing bases and heavy reliance on coal, such as Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin, would each lose at least 20,000 jobs.

The Heritage study projects that the plan will also result in "a loss of more than $2.5 trillion (inflation-adjusted) in aggregate gross domestic product and a total income loss of more than $7,000 (inflation-adjusted) per person." Put that lump of coal in your stocking.

President Obama would destroy the American economy to fight the mythical threat of climate change but protected the oil wealth of the very real and very deadly threat of ISIS because destroying it might hurt the environment. Go to your climate conference, Mr. President. That’ll show them

When desperation drove Miriam Martinez Solais to sneak across the Rio Grande in 2007, she imagined life in the United States would be worth the risk.

Here, Solais thought she would find decent pay for honest work. She imagined earning enough money to feed and clothe Ruth, the 3-year-old daughter she left behind with family in Mexico.

Instead, Solais, 28, could spend the next five years or more in prison. Roxboro police say she is a thief who used a stranger’s Social Security number when seeking work as a cook at a local Italian restaurant.

Federal labor officials describe a different kind of misconduct. They say Solais is the victim.

In a complaint filed in federal court, labor investigators are accusing Solais’ former boss, Giovanni Scotti D’Abbusco, of retaliating against her for complaining that Vesuvio’s restaurant cheated her out of thousands of dollars of wages she earned.

Solais’ predicament brings to the forefront political and policy questions that draw emotional responses. Like millions of other natives of Mexico, Solais came to America uninvited and is here illegally. She soon found a place for herself in a service industry that leans on immigrants willing to work hard for low pay. [More]

James Fulford writes: There are a number of things wrong with the story, such as their saying that it was “desperation” rather than greed that caused the woman to enter America without permission, and the fact that they call her an “NC worker”, when the story goes on to say that she’s actually a Mexican worker.

However, the most interesting thing is that as far as I can tell, if this woman is a victim at all, she’s the victim of an immigrant entrepreneur. A web search for restaurateur Giovanni Scotti D’Abbusco suggests that he may be a fairly recent immigrant himself, who also owns a pizzeria in Pozzuoli, Italy.

Old White Guys and the Chuck Norris Rule

Actually there is no such thing as the Chuck Norris rule in law. You have the right not to be killed, so if someone is attacking you with lethal force you may use lethal force to stop the attack. You may not use lethal force to stop a non-lethal attack. However old people have a lot more leeway in the use of force since it is recognized under the law that a punch to the head from a young and strong man is more likely to produce fatal or crippling injury to an elderly person than a younger one. So an elderly man can often use a gun to defend himself in situations where a younger man would be expected to use non-lethal force. However, many DA’s are Liberal and oppose civilian self-defense just on general Leftist principles, so they will use all kinds of cute lawyer tricks to second guess and Monday morning quarterback the civilian defender into a prison sentence (did you have to shoot? Couldn’t you have run away?). Which is why many states have passed castle doctrine and stand your ground laws in an effort to prevent law-abiding people from being rail-roaded by Leftist prosecutors.

Old White Guys and the Chuck Norris Rule

As this is Thanksgiving week, I thought I’d take a break from Muslim terrorists and social justice warriors and all the other negative stuff to give thanks for something positive that happened in 2015. In two separate but similar criminal cases that were resolved this year, a precedent was established that will possibly, hopefully, influence prosecutors in the years to come: Elderly white guys are not legally mandated to play by the “Chuck Norris rule” if they believe their lives are at risk.

What’s the Chuck Norris rule? As anyone who’s ever seen his family-friendly brand of martial-arts ass-kicking knows, the Chuck Norris rule is simple: Force can only be met with equal but not greater force. An evil ninja comes at you with fists, you use fists to defeat him. Kicks can be met with kicks. Weapons like a staff or a sword are only allowable when the bad guys use them first. And a gun? That’s only a permissible line of defense when the villain is firing directly at you with intent to kill.

In the Chuck Norris universe, this type of proportional response to villainy is mandated. It’s why, for eight seasons, CBS was able to promote Walker, Texas Ranger as family-friendly entertainment. At heart, the Chuck Norris rule is the direct antithesis of the “Chicago way” from The Untouchables.

It’s become a media cliché to say that the white population in the U.S. is “rapidly aging,” but clichéd though that claim may be, it’s not inaccurate. Like all elderly people, aging whites will become increasingly susceptible to crime, and matters relating to self-defense will become more and more important. Which is why I consider it a small victory that this year, two separate attempts to penalize old white men for not abiding by the Chuck Norris rule failed miserably. If you didn’t read about these two cases in the news, it’s almost certainly because, since all the participants were white—the good guys and bad guys alike—neither story got Trayvonified into a national cause célèbre involving rioters, burned-out CVS stores, and presidents waxing poetic about hypothetical sons.

In July 2014, 80-year-old Long Beach resident Tom Greer had the utter gall to think he could just waltz into his own house after spending an evening out. Unfortunately, his act of aggression—coming home—surprised two local thugs (both with a history of crimes against the elderly) who were in the process of ransacking Greer’s house when the old man returned. The criminals—a 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman—began mercilessly beating Greer, breaking his collarbone and knocking him to the floor. As the male robber tried to force open Greer’s safe, the female continued the attack, stomping on the helpless octogenarian. Finally, she left to help her boyfriend with the safe, giving Greer time to crawl toward where he kept his .22 Smith & Wesson. Injured, in great pain, disoriented, frightened, but not particularly keen on the idea of dying that night, Greer managed to get to his feet and come after the wealth redistributors, who fled at the sight of the gun. Greer pursued them into the alley behind his house, where the female hoodlum pleaded with Greer, “Don’t shoot me, I’m pregnant, I’m going to have a baby.”

He plugged her like a carnival shooting-gallery duck.

There were two things that Greer did not know at that moment. One was that the female hood was not pregnant. Her plea was a rehearsed line to be uttered should one of her victims get the upper hand. The other was that the male thug wasn’t just running away out of fear. He was actually heading to his getaway car to bring back reinforcements. However, the “lookout”—his 49-year-oldmother, a Snooki-tanned gorgon—decided that now that a gun was in play, it was best to flee.

Mother and son went to jail, and Miss Phantom Pregnancy 2014 went to the morgue. End of story…or it would have been, if not for the leftists who began pressuring prosecutors to charge Greer with murder because he violated the Chuck Norris rule: He shot a woman who had no gun (proportional self-defense only!). The fact that Greer was 80 years old, badly injured, and completely certain that the attempted murderers were going to finish the job if given the chance made no difference. Greer should have taken out the girl with a well-executed leg sweep and a gentle karate chop to the neck. Why should an 80-year-old with a broken collarbone and multiple bodily injuries be held to a different standard than Walker, Texas Ranger?

Hispanic activist Ruben Navarrette led the charge to have Greer put away for the danger to society that he is. In an op-ed for CNN, Navarrette rather coldly declared, “If there is any justice, the 80-year-old should spend the remainder of his golden years in prison.” He accused Greer of “stalking his prey.” Yes, the beaten and panicked 80-year-old is a “stalker,” and the thugs who broke into his home and tried to kill him are “prey.”

“Greer should have called police and waited for them to arrive,” said Navarrette, a vocal gun-control advocate.

As 2014 came to a close, prosecutors in Long Beach were still mulling exactly what type of punishment, if any, to mete out to old Tom Greer. At roughly the same time, prosecutors in Reno were wrangling over the case of 74-year-old Wayne Burgarello, a retired schoolteacher. Burgarello had the nerve to own a rental unit, a duplex, that he wasn’t using (greedy white man! So many people can’t afford one home, and he dares to have two?). A heroic junkie decided to break into the duplex and use it as her own personal medicinal meth clinic. Burgarello had been becoming more and more agitated about break-ins and thefts at the duplex, so one evening he decided to drop by, foolishly thinking he had the right to visit his property anytime he wanted. After calling out a warning demanding that any trespassers leave, Burgarello entered. He found the junkie and a trick she picked up that night sleeping on the floor. Startled, the trick picked up a black flashlight, and Burgarello, armed and thinking the flashlight was a gun (the room was dark, as there was no power in the unit), opened fire, killing the trick and wounding the junkie.

Burgarello was arrested, and his bail was set at $2 million (because an elderly man who had previously suffered a heart attack and two strokes is the most obvious of flight risks). The Reno prosecutors wasted little time on navel-gazing: They charged the old man with first-degree murder and attempted murder. Since Nevada has a “stand your ground” law, prosecutors had to prove that Burgarello acted “aggressively” to initiate the confrontation. In court, they argued that Burgarello’s act of aggression was walking into his own property. Yes, they claimed that it was an act of aggression for him to enter a vacant duplex he owned. And more than that, Burgarello had violated the Chuck Norris rule: He met a flashlight with a gun. The elderly Burgarello should have had Norris’ eagle-eye vision to distinguish a black flashlight from a gun in pitch darkness, and he should have responded by using an exquisitely executed roundhouse kick to disarm the stranger, followed by a gentle karate chop to the neck.

At the beginning of 2015, both Greer and Burgarello faced the possibility of a lifetime behind bars. Had both men been sent away, a very dangerous legal precedent would have been set. Elderly people who commit the “crime” of entering their own property would have been put on notice: If you can’t defend yourself proportionally, if you can’t execute nonlethal martial-arts maneuvers like Chuck Norris, then lie down and take whatever the bad guys have in store for you. Maybe the villains will take your life, as Greer’s violent, repeat-offender opponents surely would have, or maybe they’ll scatter like rats, as Burgarello’s startled junkies probably would have. But regardless, if you don’t give them the chance to take your life away, the state will take it away for them.

It took the jury in Reno all of six hours to find Burgarello not guilty on all charges, including the lesser ones they had the option of considering (including second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter). And in the Greer case, the DA decided not to file charges at all, stating in a press release:

Thomas Greer is presumed to have held a reasonable fear of imminent peril of death or great bodily injury…. This presumption coupled with a careful review of the evidence presented makes it clear that Thomas Greer exercised his legal and legitimate right of self defense when he shot and killed Andrea Miller. No criminal liability arises from his actions.

A victory for elderly white dudes, and a devastating loss for junkies, thugs, Ruben Navarrette, and the Chuck Norris rule. In a year filled with bad news, the fact that Tom Greer and Wayne Burgarello are closing 2015 as free men is indeed a reason to give thanks.

Dutch Court to Rejected 'Refugees': Go Home or Starve

Holland, which has been suffering from the "refugee" influx even before Muslim immigrants were called "refugees," can now expel them without worrying about European notions of "human rights."

A Dutch high court on Thursday upheld a government policy of withholding food and shelter to rejected asylum-seekers who refuse to be repatriated, giving legal backing to one of Europe's toughest immigration policies. The Raad van State or Council of State, which reviews the legality of government decisions, found that the new policy of conservative Prime Minister Mark Rutte does not contravene the European Convention on Human Rights.

A rejected asylum seeker does not have the right to appeal to the European Social Charter, it said.

The Dutch government "has the right, when providing shelter in so-called locations of limited freedom, to require failed asylum-seekers to cooperate with their departure from the Netherlands," a summary of the ruling said.

This is a good first step. The Europeans have been buffaloed by the trammels of the European super-state, looking over their shoulders at the bureaucrats in Brussels and the corruptocrats of the UN before daring to defend themselves against the invasion of their territory by "migrants" from the ummah of Islam.

Thursday's ruling counters an August report by the U.N.'s Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which told the Dutch they should meet migrants' basic needs unconditionally. "As long as they are in The Netherlands, they have to enjoy minimum standards of living," co-author Ion Diaconu, wrote at the time.

Says a Romanian, whose own country has largely been spared the "migrant" influx because it is poor and inhospitable to Muslims, having had hundreds of years of experience with them.

The EU's leading human rights forum, the 47-nation Council of Europe admonished the Netherlands in 2014 for placing asylum seekers in administrative detention and leaving many "irregular immigrants" in legal limbo and destitution. Europe's worst migrant and refugee crisis since World War Two has led to a surge in support for far right Dutch leader Geert Wilders, who wants to close the borders.

The Netherlands is the eighth-largest destination for asylum seekers in the European Union, accounting for 4 percent of total arrivals in 2014. Total applications last year rose 87 percent to 24,535.

The way things are going, Wilders will probably be the next leader of the Netherlands. And then, watch out.

Blog: Why do you never see gasoline taxes itemized on your receipt?

In April 2014, I suddenly realized that when you buy gasoline, the receipt does not list all the different taxes you have to pay. 

So I emailed the Illinois Policy Institute (https://www.illinoispolicy.org) and asked them to make up a facsimile of a gas receipt. 

Here's what they came up with, and they featured it in a story on their website. 

Turns out a gallon of gas in Chicago has eight taxes on it.  In Park Ridge adds two cents more.  (I think today they are higher.) 

I went to a neighborhood gas station – the owner was a nice guy.  I asked him if people get angry with him when gasoline goes up in price.

He said of course they do.  I said, "Why don't you put a sign in your window, listing all the taxes they customers are paying on a gallon of gas?"

He said, "That's illegal in Illinois.  I would get fined and could lose my gas station!"

Survey Reports 58% of Americans Polled “Don’t Identify With What American Has Become”

The fact is that both parties have abandoned white middle and working class voters. Trump is getting a lot of support lately simply because he is addressing the concerns of middle and working class whites in ways both the Republican and Democrat party ruling elites have not.

From Breitbart, which has become an invaluable source for National Question topics, reports on a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll:

According to the Reuters survey, 58 percent Americans say they “don’t identify with what America has become.” While Republicans and Independents are the most likely to agree with this statement, even 45 percent of Democrats share this feeling.

More than half of Americans, 53 percent, say they “feel like a stranger” in their own country. A minority of Americans feel “comfortable as myself” in the country.

And why is this?

There are no doubt lots of reasons underlying this feelings. Demographically, Americans holding these views tend to be white, older, live in the South and have less than a college education. Politically, they are cordoned off as the white working class. While they rarely attract much attention from the political class, they still represent an enormous block of voters. Their numbers may be declining relative to the entire population, but they are still the largest single block of voters. In many critical swing states like Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina, they represent a significant base of voters that can determine the outcome of elections.

And what do the elite of both political parties have to offer these voters?

The reasons for their alienation are both cultural and economic. The economic anxiety sparked by the financial crisis in 2007-8 has likely pushed them further away from the mainstream political parties. This isn’t solely a phenomenon on the right, as the resurgent popularity of explicitly socialist policies on the left attest.

Even allowing that the economy has officially been in recovery for the past six years, its benefits haven’t been felt widely. The jobs gained during the economic recovery have generally been at lower wages and benefits than before the Great Recession. The number of Americans not in the labor force, on food stamps or permanent disability have all reached historic highs. Concerns over income inequality have increased as the Federal Reserve has pumped trillions of dollars of stimulus into Wall Street and the financial markets.

It’s partly demographic, partly economic, and partly cultural.

There are cultural factors as well. Several years ago, leading Democrat strategists created the “Bobby Kennedy Project,” an effort to increase the party’s appeal to white working class voters. The effort was soon abandoned, though, when it became clear that the party would have to moderate some of its more progressive social positions. The Democrat party, for now at least, has staked its future on appealing to young and minority voters. Whether or not this is the politically smart play for the future remains to be seen. In the present, however, it means that a huge block of voters feel alienated and are up for grabs politically. Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” is perfectly attuned to those voters who feel increasingly like “strangers” in their own country.

The Republican Establishment is panicking over Trump’s success.

Panic breeds actions born out of emotions rather than somber reflection. The Republican establishment is understandably panicked at the thought of Donald Trump capturing the party’s nomination for President. It is convinced, perhaps incorrectly, that a Trump candidacy will doom the party’s chances next year. Its zeal to derail his campaign carries huge risks for the party, however. The Trump phenomenon is not simply the product of a media-savvy, hyper-personality candidate. It is drawing strength from very real sentiments of a huge block of voters. The Republican party may take out Trump, but it alienates these voters at its peril.

Donald Trump’s campaign has tapped into a strong, visceral feeling of millions of Americans. Seeking to destroy Trump, the candidate, may further alienate the Republican party from a rapidly growing block of voters.

Ann Coulter - Importing Terrorism and Other American Values

Americans keep being hectored to take "refugees" from terrorist-producing countries because to do otherwise would be "a betrayal of our values," as President Obama said on Monday.

The rise of Donald Trump reminds us of the popularity of another, long-forgotten American value: protecting Americans.

Contrary to Obama's laughable reference to "the universal values" that "all of humanity" share, most of the world does not share our values, at all. They barely seem to share our DNA. As indignantly explained by the lawyer representing two Iraqis accused of child rape in Nebraska, America's views about women and children "put us in the minority position in the world."

Pederasty, child brides, honor killings, clitorectomies, stonings, wife beatings -- when will America grow up and join the 21st century? (A lot sooner if Marco Rubio has his way!)

The New York Times boasts about how amazingly painstaking the "vetting" of Syrian refugees will be, but I notice the main point the paper keeps stressing is how long it will take. Twenty-four months!

"Waiting" is not "vetting." What is 24 months to people who can hold a grudge for a thousand years?

As we found out from Michael Steinbach, assistant director of the FBI, in congressional testimony last month, there are no Syrian computer databases for our investigators to use in their famed "vetting" of refugees.

"You're talking about a country that is a failed state, that does not have any infrastructure," he said. "So all of the data sets -- the police, the intel services -- that normally you would go to seek information don't exist."

It seems that another value the rest of the world doesn't share with the West is our painstaking record-keeping. There's no Syrian FBI running the National Crime Information Center. Syria barely has a phonebook.

Our investigators can take fingerprints all day long, but if there's nothing to check those fingerprints against, there's no "vetting."

It's possible that during that agonizing 24 months of waiting, someone will warn our immigration officials about particular refugees. Then, our government will admit them anyway -- as they did with Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Tamerlan's suspected co-conspirator in the murder of three Jews, Ibragim Todashev, was another beneficiary of America's generous humanitarian policies -- humanitarian toward foreign criminals and terrorists, monstrous toward Americans.

Our crack investigators admitted Todashev after concluding he had a credible fear of persecution in Chechnya. Meanwhile, his own father said, "He has nothing to fear ... he would have faced no oppression."

Good job, meticulous vetters! (Luckily, during an interrogation after the Boston Marathon bombing, Todashev attacked an FBI agent and got himself killed, saving the taxpayers 60 years of room and board.)

American officials were also warned about the blind sheik, Omar Abdel-Rahman, not only by U.S. consular officials in Egypt -- but by Hosni Mubarak, the president of Egypt himself.

But the Blind Sheik was allowed to go about his business in America, plotting terrorist attacks with other widows and orphans, such as Ramzi Yousef, mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing -- and American asylee.

Under our immigration policies, being a member of a noted terrorist group qualifies you to come to America; being a talented scientist from Switzerland does not.

Our aggressive refugee vetters couldn't even figure out which Iraqis were helping American troops during the war and which were trying to kill them. During the terrorism prosecution of Iraqi "refugees" Waad Ramadan Alwan and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, the FBI produced Alwan's fingerprints from IEDs that had been used against American troops in Iraq.

Talk about a fine-toothed comb!

Obama pulled every last American troop out of Iraq, then brought enemy troops to America, as refugees.

Incidentally, every one of these terrorists was a "legal" immigrant. How many World Trade Centers, Boston Marathons and Fort Hoods do we need before Republicans drop the "Illegals, bad; Legals, good" shibboleth?

Some Republicans have called for admitting only Christian refugees -- the main point of which is to allow Jeb! and Rubio to talk tough on immigration, without alienating their imaginary Hispanic base.

Fazliddin Kurbanov was admitted as a Christian refugee in 2009 from the booming world power of Uzbekistan. He claimed that he and his family were being persecuted in the majority Muslim country.

Soon after arriving, Kurbanov realized: He was a Muslim, after all!

He began communicating with the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, telling them: "We are the closest ones to the infidels .... What would you say if with the help of God we implement a martyrdom act?"

At trial, Kurbanov's defense was that he was just trying to get information on the terrorists in order "to capture them."

The jury was unconvinced, perhaps swayed by the stores of ammonium nitrate, acetone, aluminum powder and Tannerite found in Kurbanov's apartment. Our immigration officials would have found Kurbanov's story as believable as his Christianity.

After the last 50 years of mass immigration from the Third World, we're good on Islamic terrorists, Mexican rapists, Russian arms dealers, Asian human traffickers and Pakistani Medicare scammers. We're not running short on those anytime soon.

If our government were in the nation-destroying business, they'd be doing a fantastic job! But that's not what we're paying our government to do.

America is under no obligation to admit anyone, least of all perpetually aggrieved, welfare-dependent Muslims, some percentage of whom, we know to a certainty, will end up being terrorists.
