afghanistan-will-fall-apart-
Of course it will. That's the plan, that why we are withdrawing as abruptly as we are. Our President and his minions don't believe we should have been in Afghanistan in the first place. Of course, they do recognize that right after 9-11 the American people wanted their government to strike back at the terrorists, so our President will state for public consumption that Afghanistan was a "'war of necessity", even though he and his fellow
travelers really believe that striking back against a Middle Eastern country because of 9-11 was unjust. After all they believe that terrorism is merely a "police matter" and that America brought the terrorist attacks on itself
by its unjust meddling in Middle Eastern affairs. In the mind of President Obama and his minions pulling out abruptly will make amends for our past transgressions and show the Islamic fanatics of every stripe that the "new" America means them no harm. We must "empathize" with our enemies after all. But read SECDEF Hagel's verbal tap dance as he endeavors to answer the NCO's question without spilling the beans:
Defense secretary Chuck Hagel was stumped by an Army staff sergeant whoasked him for an assurance that the security situation in Afghanistanwouldn't deteriorate after the withdrawal of American forces the way broadareas of Iraq succumbed to the Islamic State.
"In the end each country must take the responsibility for their own futuresand for their own fate and for governing themselves," Hagel replied.
The outgoing Pentagon chief insisted that Iraq and Afghanistan are "moredifferent" than they are alike, although he noted some troublingsimilarities
