The “stop n’ rob” owner’s revenge! This guy’s wife was shot and wounded last month by an armed robber. FYI Spanaway is just south of Tacoma and east of Joint Base McCord-Lewis (formerly known as Fort Lewis and McCord Air Force Base). Clearly not a safe area to hang out in these days.

SPANAWAY, Wash. – The owner of a Spanaway convenience store shot and killed a shoplifting suspect on Friday night.
The store owner’s wife was shot during a robbery at the Pacific Quick Mart last month.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ed Troyer at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, two young men were drinking in the parking lot of the Pacific Quick Mart on Pacific Ave S. Troyer said the two went into the store, where there was an attempted shoplift.
Troyer said the store owner/clerk pulled a gun, there was a confrontation and at some point a couple of rounds were fired, hitting and killing the man.
Troyer said the other suspect in the shoplifting stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
No arrests have been made.
Last month, a masked man walked into the store, demanded money from the clerk and ended up shooting the clerk, a 30-year-old woman.
Two people were arrested in that case.
