Oh the bitter irony! Sad tales indeed. Perhaps they should only let rich people, people with the requisite money management skills to know how to properly safeguard and invest a multi-million dollar jackpot, to play the lottery? Oh well, like they say, the big winner in every game of chance is always the “house”.
The Powerball lottery, which will be drawn on Wednesday evening, has an estimated jackpot of $1.5 billion. It's a lot of money, but if you do the math, buying a ticket probably won't be worth it.
