Japan done apologizing for WW2 attrocities

No more Mr. Nice Guy!

Two generations have passed since Japan wreaked havoc on the people of China. Japan's Prime Minister says he's done apologizing.

During the Rape of Nanking approximately 300,000 were tortured and murdered; virtually all were civilians and surrendered soldiers. Tens of thousands of Chinese women were raped. The atrocity occurred over a two-month span; December, 1937 and January, 1938.
Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expressed regret, but offered no apology.
He said his people squarely face history, but, "We must not let our children, grandchildren, and even further generations to come, who have nothing to do with that war, be predestined to apologize."

Meanwhile, white Americans continue to burden themselves with the nation's slave era, brought about by black African slave traders. Thousands of free black Americans owned slave labor including Anthony Johnson, a black tobacco farmer in Virginia who was America's first legal slave holder.

White Southerners are singled out to be hated. The demographics is the target of frequent ridicule and physical attacks for displaying the Confederate flag; a symbol of Southern heritage.

Japan still displays the rising-sun flag.

The Prime Minister made the comments today during a much-watched television speech marking the 70th anniversary of Japan's surrender concluding World War II.
