Is anybody surprised by this? Most metropolitan city and county police forces have already been reduced by half in the past decade by Leftist controlled city councils and county boards. So the plan all along was to get rid of the police. The Lefties have other priorities than public safety. Their social engineering projects are more important than basic services. Plus causing widespread chaos is necessary to induce the public to accept radical transformation of their society.
Police departments across the country are working to attract new recruits amid a perceived growing anti-cop environment and high-profile police assassinations followed by chants of pigs in a blanket, fry'em like bacon.
