Wow! So President Obama is promising a country where most people don't work,
don't pay taxes and collect government benefits. Sounds like paradise!

The problem is that such a country will probably fall apart before too long.
To paraphrase Margret Thatcher, that country will eventually run out of
other people's money to redistribute to the masses. But in the meantime, it
all sounds wonderful, doesn't it?
