Once again Pope Francis is clear as mud. Of course if we read between the lines and remember that Pope Francis is a social justice warrior in long standing then we understand what this is really about. The thrust of the latest encyclical is that the Church is NOT going to change its basic doctrine regarding divorce, abortion, birth control and gay marriage. However, it IS going to refrain from scolding people over their minor sexual immoralities and petty violations of Church doctrine regarding the same. Why? Because it is just not as important as advancing social justice causes. But as we have seen you ARE going to scolded for having money, because combating inequality of income and wealth IS what social justice is all about. So the main takeaway from this and Pope Francis’ previous encyclicals is that the Roman Catholic Church is being re-purposed to advancing Marxist social justice policies.

He also noted that Pope Francis, in his new exhortation, "The Joy of Love", gives another specific example where conscience might overrule longstanding Church law. He or she can not validly marry again in the Catholic Church - something which the Pope worries may drive members away.
Local 10 News reporter Jenise Fernandez spoke to Archbishop Thomas Wenski in Miami Shores on Friday to get his take on the 250-page document.
He said the church needs to embrace individual situations, particularly for individuals needing the church, but not living within church doctrine.
And he suggested that Catholics who are divorced, and even those who have gotten remarried, might be able to receive holy communion.
Both of the synods sparked controversy amid speculation over whether there would be a change in the Church's practice that the divorced-and-civilly remarried may not receive Communion.
Wenski said the Archdiocese of Miami will get onboard with streamlining annulments.
"We have been called to form consciences, not replace to them", he said.
As for same-sex marriage, the teachings are the same.
Cupich said it will serve as a roadmap that will shape discussions about marriage and family life, but is not about increasing "market share" for the church.
"It makes it very clear that nothing can compare with the ideal of marriage as created by God, as one union, man and woman, a lifetime permanent exclusive union", said Bishop Tobin.
Miller said he lost contact with the church but found his way back in 2011 and was welcomed and guided through the process of annulment with the compassionate help of the Rev. Joseph Pins at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis.
"I think that's one of the things that Pope Francis is trying to communicate, to encourage them to see themselves as able to engage with the church with whatever way the church's discipline will permit", Choby said.
Some progressive Catholics, while pleased with a few aspects of Francis' document, felt that it came up just short of what needed to be said.
Russell Shaw, a former spokesman for the U.S. Catholic bishops' conference, told The Wall Street Journal that the Pontiff's latest statements on marriage open up room for ambiguity on all of the church's doctrines regarding morality.
Francis's open-air mass at the US-Mexican border in February also provoked criticism from some who felt his gestures and comments about immigration are too political. Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs said "if the opportunity arises he would be delighted to meet with the pope" but Sanders has not received an official invitation from the Catholic leader.
