Lesson Learned: once people get hooked on receiving welfare benefits from the government it becomes nearly impossible to talk them into giving them up. That's basically what the Scottish independence question came down for the majority of Scots: keeping the free stuff coming for the rest of the UK. So now the UK government is going to promise the Scots more free stuff to keep them on board in the future.
